What stays on your device
Calculator inputs, scenario values, results, and local exports stay in browser memory unless you choose a device-local save. We do not send these values to our server, analytics, support, or email.

Money Journal launch calculators work in your browser. We do not require a Money Journal account or a bank connection to provide a result.
Calculator inputs, scenario values, results, and local exports stay in browser memory unless you choose a device-local save. We do not send these values to our server, analytics, support, or email.
Every decision tool on this site is free and needs no payment details at all. The only paid item is an optional companion workbook, and its Stripe checkout is documented but intentionally inactive while payment configuration, support, and refund operations are completed. No payment information is collected by Money Journal today.
We measure anonymous lifecycle events: opening a tool, reaching a first result, completing the checkup, creating a local export, viewing the workbook offer, starting checkout, and requesting a refund. We do not capture financial values, answers, result details, dates, precise province, email, or access tokens in analytics. Our provider is Plausible, which is cookieless, sets no cross-site identifier, and does not build a profile of you across websites. Every event we send is filtered through a fixed allowlist of non-identifying fields before it leaves your browser, so a calculator value cannot reach analytics even by mistake.
The result you calculate is intended for you. Resetting the workspace clears in-memory values from the page.
